Solutions to Lubrication Point Failures
Mar. 19, 2025
The lubrication points of concrete pump trucks should always maintain the function of lubrication. If a failure occurs, it will affect the normal progress of construction, and may also cause mechanical wear. So how do concrete pump truck lubrication point failures usually occur during construction? Specifically, there are three points:
1. The manual lithium-based grease pump itself has a fault;
2. The plate oil separator is blocked or damaged;
3. One or more of the lubrication points of the large and small bearing seats and the mixing sleeve are blocked.
For the above pump truck lubrication point failures, there are usually two solutions:
1. Remove the grease outlet steel pipe of the grease pump, and then shake the grease pump. It is found that the grease pump can grease normally and can be shaken easily, indicating that there is no problem with the grease pump;
2. Remove the large and small bearing seats and the lubrication points of the mixing sleeve in turn. During the disassembly process, if it is found that a certain lubrication point is removed and the grease pump is shaken again, it is determined that the lubrication point is blocked.
Concrete pump trucks have been widely used by construction parties in major construction sites. Learning to simply solve lubrication point failures during construction can greatly improve construction efficiency.
